I’ve only been in Amsterdam for a couple hours so far - it’s a bit surreal, as cities often are when you land in them, lightly jet lagged. I spent most of the morning wandering, walking through the tree covered streets, dappled in sunlight. I love the frequency and casualness of jaywalking here; bikes and pedestrians nimbly crossing paths with cars and trucks. I bought a fresh croissant and sat by one of the canals, watching boats drift by. -- source link
