chrysina-resplendens:Doesn’t look like there’s anything there at first, but flip over any leaf on this dogwood and there are all these little sawfly larva! My advisor believes them to be sawflies because of the way they curl their abdomens when disturbed. Yep looks like Dogwood Sawfly (M. tarsatus) larvae :) -- source link
