thylaforever: yourea–stubborn–man: I think this is the first time someone has publicly and unapologetically called out someone who was being bigoted towards Spock, and I will never not lose my shit about it. You can tell Spock has dealt with stuff like this his whole life, from his own family even, and I’m not saying anyone has ever accepted him before -obviously Pike and others have- but I feel like no one has ever taken his side so openly. You can tell from his reaction that he doesn’t know what to do with Jim’s actions either, he’s never experienced this before.
