It is neatly engraved on either side with Greek majuscules and contains a spell of the type commonly found in the Greek magical papyri. The reverse has preserved a portion of the protective prayer for its bearer: “Deliver Gaia from fever”, while the obverse is composed of a well-known palindrome (a magical name or formula that reads the same forward as backwards), the name Ablanathanalba.3rd century A.D.The J.
