The Wilton Diptych inside panels and outside panels. (c. 1395–9) The inside panels depict Richard II of England kneeling before The Virgin Mary and Child (Jesus) whilst being presented by the Royal Saints of England Edmund the Martyr and Edward the Confessor, and Richard’s Patron Saint John the Baptist. The outside panels show Richard’s coat of arms which consist of Edward the Confessor’s arms impaled with those of the Kings of England (left) and Richard’s White Stag emblem. Source -- source link
