Did you know that the Kislak Center is home to the largest Jonathan Swift collection outside the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland? In honor of the collection and our new exhibition *A Raging Wit: The Life and Legacy of Jonathan Swift*, we’ve used Swift’s best known and most illustrated work Gulliver’s Travels as inspiration for our wall calendar this year. This month’s image is from an edition illustrated by V. Amand Poinson, published 1886 by J.C. Nimmo of London. This upcoming Thursday through Saturday we will be holding a conference in conjunction with *A Raging Wit*, focusing on Swift’s impact on the 21st century. For more information about the exhibition and registration for the conference, visit: http://www.library.upenn.edu/exhibits/swift350.htmlCall number: Geoffrey Denison Gulliver’s Travels Collection.
