Reminded that the path I’m on is mine. No one else’s. I put one foot in front of the other just like everyone else. Some days are great while other days I find myself buried in my own sadness and shame. Feeling like I have 1000 reasons for not wanting to be alive anymore because I’m not living my life like “I should” and barely keeping my head above water. I smile and laugh because alotta times I don’t know what else to do and it feels GOOD to my spirit. Today I’m smiling because I have air in my lungs and I refuse to let my demons win. Another day to heal, make art and hopefully heal others in the process. -- source link
