Seeing as the show is now over, it’s a good time to post this: in-progress and then finished cast cards! These were a lot of work but I’m really proud of them, and they went down well. Each one has a main quote on the front as said by that actor/character (chosen either because it’s a significant quote or because of something that happened in rehearsal), a small picture to match their character, the waves at the top and bottom, and the actor’s first line in the top left and their last line in the bottom left.On the back of each card I wrote out a castlist and the date and place of the performance, as there was no programme specifically for our show. And I made sure to fill one whole side of the card on the inside for the message - I’m no good at opening night speeches, so these had to stand for them to tell each person how happy and proud I was of what they’d achieved.I was expecting this post to end here, but I gave these out on the Saturday and on the Sunday I got a wonderful surprise back!WHICH IS SUPER COOL, BECAUSE I HAVE IV AND I’VE BEEN MEANING TO GET SOME MORE. But it’s EVEN BETTER ON THE INSIDE:THEY SIGNED IT. I still can’t work out when they all had time to do this when I wasn’t looking, lol, but THEY’VE ALL SIGNED IT AND IT’S SO WONDERFUL.I’m so happy right now, folks. :D -- source link
