The ape stands upon a plinth which is straight-edged in the front and rounded in the rear. He wears an “Atef” crown. The upper part of the body is that of an ape; the lower part is human and child-like with chubby legs. The rear of the body is decorated with a lozenge feather pattern which leads into a long bird’s tail. Condition: Chips in mane and crown; dark discoloration in hollows.Size: 2 7/16 x 13/16 x 1 1/16 in.
