roadkilljack: The finished pied bald buck! He came out so amazingly well too! Now that he is cleaned and whitened, you can see the extent of his facial deformities. This poor animal, the more I look at him the more I cannot help but to feel how difficult his life was.Upon examination of his teeth, I am guessing he lived to be about 3 ½ - 4 years old, which is pretty damned amazing given how messed up he was!It just goes to show you how resilient nature is even with starting off life with a bad hand of cards laid out for you. **Special thank you to @theknittinglynx for trading him to me!!I am honored to have such an amazing and interesting animal in my personal collection. As I worked on him, I got more and more attached to him, so for the price of a few furs, Lynx let me keep his skull. :) Soon I will have his spine de-greased and whitened so I can articulate it! -- source link
