Where: Millennium Bridge, London Awkward that one of the main things I wanted to see upon coming to London was this Millennium Bridge. Ask me why?? 2 words: Harry Potter. The iconic moment where Greyback and the other death eaters torment the city and destroy this bridge. I mean, come on. You can’t get any more cinematic than that. Anyways.. What do i have to say about the Millenium Bridge? I absolutely love it. It’s awkwardly modern, but fits in with the eclectic collection of misfit bridges across that river. Literally, I don’t know who thought about putting all of the bridges together, but it doesn’t make any sense. But maybe that gives the river spunk. And lord knows, that river needs as much spunk as it can get. But enough about that. Let’s get to the main subject. Well, let’s get back to it: The Millennium Bridge. It’s really cool. And the view from it is INCREDIBLE. Actually, I’d have to say best view i’ve seen to date from London, of London. So good work there. It was so pretty at sunset, I just stood there for a couple of minutes and started across the river at the Shard and the other weird bridges. Absolutely incredible. And I felt this weird, “I’m home” feeling when i stood on it. Like, I felt a little more connected to London, which is hard to feel in 5 days. -- source link
