I almost never do fan art, but I’m challenging myself to draw a ton of G.I.Joe this month. Starting with Scarlett!I didn’t really do anything crazy, just my own detail pass of her classic costume; leaning a bit towards influence from the Resolute design. I give her a Mk23 because I thought she could use a sidearm with some heft to balance out that crossbow.For the crossbow itself, all I knew was I wanted to imply it was charged by a battery, like it primed some sort of electric bolts. As for the bolts, I imagined them loaded by stripper clip straight into the back of the stock there, and the next bolt is lifted up a small slide when the pump is pulled back, then pulled forward into firing position when the pump is racked forward.I threw my Snake Eyes in as well, so they can you know.
