clatterbane: Well, looks like they’re not giving up with that hideous chair. It’s been sitting out in exactly the same spot a few houses down for probably 3 weeks now. And nobody has nicked it or anything. Can’t imagine why. But, they’ve gamely clustered bags around it for collection in the morning. Doubt they’ll have any better luck with making the chair disappear that way. (Maybe they have arranged to get that picked up. If so, it’s been waiting a while.) Wow, yeah, as one of those people who has been known to salvage and rehabilitate unwanted furniture, even I would want nothing to do with that chair. It looks like a low-resolution version of what a chair should be. It also looks like it would collapse of an actual human sat in it. o_O -- source link
