The last existing cementation foundry left in the UK. The earliest form of steel was created in Sheffield by placing charcoal and iron together in the foundry. After days the process produced blister steel. This is in a side street off the inner ring road and is unmarked except for the sign in the front and multiple references in the nearby museum.
