Imagine an alternate society in which boys who turn 18 are put on probation before they are allowed to grow up. In this alternate reality, mass poverty, increasing unemployment rates and progressively violent youth riots have led to a bill that is intended to provide perspective for young adult males who are at the root of these problems. Every boy has a choice: Either to grow up and take responsibility for his life or to be turned into a diaper dependent baby. Starting from their 18th birthday till their 21st, every boy may proof that he is capable of becoming a valuable member of society and that he is able to provide for himself and his family. If one succeeds, he will be granted all privileges of adulthood. If one fails, however, he is assigned for corrective re-education. Depending on the severity of their shortcomings, these boys may be sentenced to disciplinary measures intended to alter their detrimental behavior, or they may be declared lost causes and are sentenced to become diaper dependent adult babys. Boys who abide by their disciplinary regimen and improve their character, may apply for a re-evaluation after at least 2 years have passed. Those who are declared Adult Babies, however, will have no other choice but to accept their fate, since their sentences will be executed immediately. Over the course of several years they will be retrained in a special facility where they are regressed and unpotty trained until they are just like big, innocent babies. Some of them may be allowed to be re-raised after they have fully assimilated in their new role. Others, however, will remain babies for the rest of their lives and are put up for adoption by interested caretakers who wish to take them in. This bill has achieved the unthinkable: There are no young males anymore who have no perspective and waste their time with sex and violence or drugs instead of pursuing a career. All of them who would do so, have been turned into adult babies who are content at playing with their caretakers while sitting in their full diapers and suckling on their bottles or pacifiers. The most harm they will ever do is throwing a tantrum, which will earn them more of the tender loving discipline they so clearly need. On the other hand, several jobs for caretakers, trainers and disciplinarians were created under this bill which provide many young women with great career opportunities. In the course of only 10 years, this society will become fully reorganized free from its previous burdens. At the top of the new hierarchy resides one central authority: the Board of Juvenile Discipline. It alone may decide the fate of every boy living in this society. With their network of informants and modern intelligence technology, the board members may assess nearly every aspect of the lives their charges have lived between their 18th and their 21st birthday. Based on this information and a final hearing, they judge each and every boy.
