Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, 1925. Robert Bonfils. Imprimerie de Vangirand, Paris.Bonfils designed one of the four official posters to advertise the 1925 Parisian exhibition, from which the term “Art Deco” was derived. His image, in the style of a woodcut, is a classical allegory of a young girl frolicking in the woods with a gazelle. Above them is a stylized rose which was one of the symbols of the exhibition. -- source link
