So…I did a thing. I, like so many others have tried innumerable times to grow an avocado tree from seed. I’ve failed so many times and yet I kept trying. Then I watched a tictoc that said peel the seed and I thought it can’t be that simple. It was just that simple. I peeled the seed, stuck in the toothpicks, filled the jar with good water from my Burkey and shuffled it out to the porch for that magical morning sun and afternoon shade. Every time I checked on it it felt like a miracle. I still can’t believe I got it to this point. The real test will be keeping it alive over the winter with two cats roaming free. But seriously I want to do a little victory/happy dance every time I look at this tiny baby tree. All those little moments they told you not to worry about, those are the important things. Celebrate them. I do and my life is much happier and fuller for it. Have a beautiful Sunday my friends.
