Arthur Dove, Foghorns, 1929 You are going down to the river (the white layers at the bottom that are getting darker to the center). It is the river of time. As you are moving alone the river (from left to the right), you meet people (circle-like figures). People are complex creatures. They have multiple layers that you get to know and peel as you get to know them more(nested figures). And still people are drawing you in. Every time you peel off a layer, there is something else, dark, unknown inside of them. People come and go in your life, as the time flies. Some of them you know very good, some of them you just met (a small figure in the right center). They are foghorns that let you navigate your own river. -- source link
