Now, what sort of “necromancer’s apprentice” would I be without one of these babies? Say hi to Dead Ned. You may have caught a glimpse of him in some of my previous photos. I don’t know for sure whether Ned is male or female, but an educated guess would be towards the former. I might get him checked out by my university's archaeology department (the same one that recently dug up Richard III!). Yes, this is a real human skull. Just like my horse skull, it was given to me by my former college. It could easily be 150+ years old. It shows signs of it’s top and bottom jawline being reconstructed/altered for some reason during preparation and has a layer of resin-like varnish covering it. -- source link
