It was pretty ironic… the sharks seemed to be more afraid of us than we were of them! This was the closest I could get before they sped off, so this concept remains on my bucket list and I will reattempt it next summer. . . The purpose was to model fine art nudes while swimming *with* (not chasing away) sharks to show they are not the monsters Hollywood paints them as. Because they are so demonized, a lot of inhumane practices (like cutting off their fins and leaving them to die) are common practice. . . The cost of the boat, captain, shark expert, and flights and accommodation make this passion project nearly unattainable, but you can help!
