rated-e-perpentach-art-tradeHi again to everyone.Here is part of the trade with Perpentach, Who asked for a pic of the Inklings from the video-game “Splatoon” for the Wii U.The game is a very interesting and novel TPS (third-person shooter ). The idea was to create a shooter that was more funny and random rather that “serious” or “depth”, The graphics and the art-style are some of the more distinctive aspects of the game, because the game is very bright and colorful, and the main characters are a specie that is half human and half squid or octopus (weird, and someone asks if they have some relationship with “Cthulhu” ) , the designs of that characters (inklings) is very interesting and unique. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————Doing this illustration was quite entertaining, Although this is the first image that I made almost totally in Paint Tool SAI, well at least I feel more comfortable with one of the multiple brushes of that soft.Also  doing a personal version of the inklings was quite a job, because I wanted that they were a mix cartoon style with some anime features, I feel O.K. with the end result, but at the same time I feel that it could be a lot better and that I have a lot of weak points that I have to improve.Well I hope you like the pic.Also you can see Perpentach’s great half of the trade here: http://perpentach.tumblr.com/post/124933902396/tales-of-xillia-spanking-art-trade-with-barky(Yeah, the idea behind the Tales of Xillia pic is lame and bad, that is all my fault, but I really like that pic)Hi-Res pic and alt version available here: http://sta.sh/21rumpn1lb1o?edit=1 -- source link
