gypsysupernova:40 Day Pokemon ChallengeDay 26 - Favorite Fairy Type: MawileVery similarly to Mawile’s counterpart Sableye, I really loved it design wise and thought it was a really interesting addition to the still very limited steel type when it was introduced but it was just never quite there in terms of stats. Then Gen VI happened and some very good things happened for lil Mawile. It got all of the perks of it’s new fairy typing with absolute no major drawbacks and was given a monstrous attack boost in the way of a mega evolution. So in the truest opposite to Sableye, who can be very viable on it’s own and who’s mega I never want to use, Mawile’s mega form is really the only true way to use this Pokemon now, which is exactly what I like to see out of mega evolutions.
