toadschooled: Male moor frogs [Rana arvalis] patiently waiting for females to arrive to their breeding pond in Bavaria. Moor frogs are widespread and common throughout Europe and Asia. Males of certain populations of these frogs have the ability to change in color from light brown to the smoky blueish-grey seen above.
