noordzee: I’ve been learning how to animate at work, we were assigned to do Jake Bartlett’s “Animating with Ease“ AfterEffects tutorial on Skillshare. The prompt was to animate a house being built, and because I’m me, I was like hmmm… it wouldn’t take me too long to build a scrupulously accurate Parthenon, would it…? Took about two days of merry researching and illustrating the basic parts, then another day to actually animate them all. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot! Including a still of the sculptures on the pediment (Athena and Poseidon fight over Athens, with citizens looking on) and metopes (centaurs fighting the Lapiths), which I maaay have put too much work into. -- source link
