6:45 sunrise in kansas. murmuring birds for miles & miles looking like faded clouds way back there.i drove for 20 hours & sam periodically touched my leg or held my hand or massaged my neck or back or head & everything was beautiful & we saw towns that were the same over & over again in kansas & in oklahoma & then we got to new mexico & it was new & incredible & we listened to the mamas & the papas there. we got close to taos & drove thru huge snowy mountains & listened to blue & saw deer & a glistening lake. it is cold but we can be in t-shirts because the sun is so bright & warm.taos is good, maybe i’ll tell you abt it later. -- source link
