I bought some nail polish recently and got this hideous nightmare of a color. On purpose, even. It’s called Redrum by Cadillacquer and is part of their Halloween 2020 collection (if you couldn’t tell by the name). It’s a three-stage thermal, which I think is a new concept? I haven’t been on the polish scene in a while, but two-toned thermals were always the gold standard, so this is kind of exciting, even if it is an abomination of chemistry.Very warm is a bright neon green which you can see in the first picture close to my cuticle. Room temperature is mustard yellow, where those red hex glitters really start to stand out (this polish makes me think of illustrative closeups of a virus, or an ill person with spots on their face). And I had to force it to show the cold version, but it’s bright orange-red! I like how the tips turn red, like a weird, bloody French manicure. Cold is the most “normal” looking stage of this one. It’s awful, it’s terrible, it’s the ugliest nail polish I’ve ever seen. I love it. -- source link
