The Tale of Two Cities according to Stephi and Heiko - Part 346Since Christmas markets are only accessible for people who are fully vaccinated or have gone through a COVID infection within the last six months, we decided too cancel Christmas for this week and instead of gaining pounds, as we usually doddering this time of the year, we decided to live healthy. That is not too hard actually as there are more and more opportunities to get healthy food. There is a whole industry already that sells organic food and stuff for the environmental sustainability. In German we like to put the prefix „bio“ in front of everything that is supposed to be healthy and at the same time has a positive effect on the environment. That’s the reason why there area lot of bio-products as well as bio-shops.These shops come in all kinds and sizes as you see in out pictures. The first picture from Munich looks like a supermarket and already advertises that it sells all kind of healthy food. At the same time it almost look sterile like a regular supermarket. The second picture shows a small shop from Cologne, all colorful and pretty small. It is a shop within a living quarter where you can find all kind of bio-products that you won’t necessarily find in a bigger supermarket. But it mostly stands out because of the colorful facade. So, will you rather go to a Christmas market this year of buy some healthy products and do you take care of you ecological footprint? -- source link
