stephiramona: The tale of two cities according to Heiko and Stephi - Part 339 This week’s tales are about veterinarians, and I’m surprised we haven’t written about this subject before. On both of our photos, you can see the sign, which shows the aesculapian staff put into the letter “V” which stands for “veterinarian”. And both photos (the first one taken by Heiko in Cologne and the second one taken by me in Munich) show a veterinary office in a city, which means they are mostly for smaller animals like dogs, cats or birds. In rural areas you also find veterinary offices for larger animals like cows or horses or offices for both, smaller and larger animals. Those who own an animal know how indispensable veterinarians are. I have owned cats (or rather: my cats owned me), and my mother owns a dog, so I spent a lot of time (and money) in veterinary offices. But we are always happy when they can help our beloved pets. There are many specialisations, for example, I have a customer who is a veterinarian and specialises in dietary treatment. This week’s praise to all veterinarians. -- source link
