Zooey was finding it harder and harder to focus.She knew how important it was for her to listen to Master’s words.Yet the more she listened, the more she seemed to sink. Deeper and deeper she went, further and further into trance.It was easy to lay back.It was easy to relax.She didn’t know how she got to Master’s house, or why she was hardly wearing any clothes. Thinking about it made her uncomfortable. Luckily, Master was helping her not think at all.  As time went by, her resistance drifted away. There was no need to fight back. No need to doubt. The soothing sentences dissolved her will. The strobing lights eased her mind.    When at last she was ordered to spread her legs, Zooey obeyed without question. “It’s simple to do as you’re told” he said, and indeed it was.
