Bridalveil Fall and El Capitan from a unique bird’s eye perspective If you’re not evolving, you’re not living. I met up with Grace at 8:55 am and informed her the snowpack on the trail was really hard and packed down so the conditions weren’t great for snowshoeing. “Ok” was her reply as I mentioned it would be fine to hike the Dewey Point Trail without our snowshoes. Something just didn’t feel right, and I’m glad I listened to her nonverbal communication. As we prepared to leave, I asked one last time, and Grace spoke up. We spent the rest of the day discovering beauty at every turn. The Mike Bossy Tree was one of our favorites (I’ll add it to our story) and our snowshoes came in handy as we extended the hike down to Crocker Point and this exquisite vista.
