Firstly, comparing theft to murder is idiotic. 90 cans of formula using just getting enough for a little one, they were probably going to resell it. But even then, it’s nothing compared to murder. Want to compare pictures? It’s all about the subject. A mug shot of two thiefs was probably all the news story cared to obtain, seeing how it’s a relatively minor crime compared to murder. And they are black, so what. Now the guy with his family happens to be white. Big whoop. But the reason a family picture is used because the public sees a picture of a happy family, frozen in time. And then we remember he killed them, made their last moments on this earth filled with pain, terror and horror that the one individual who should have protected them did the exact opposite. Compared to the mug shots of two fools stealing baby formula, that picture is a 1000 times more powerful. It’s all about the heartstrings, and the media knows exactly how to pull them. And it’s not even about race, they do this with black families and brown families and everybody else in between. This, my dear idiot Tumblr, is a race-baiting, minimal intelligence post designed to stir up the masses. Congratulations, you fell for it.
