And yo, let’s throw in a Filipino prince (who is SMOKING FUCKING HOT btw) because why the fuck wouldn’t you? It’s a big beautiful rainbow of ethnicities and it’s majestic as fuck.The music is fabulous. “Impossible?” “In My Own Little Corner?” “Ten Minutes Ago?” There is not one miss or even ‘meh’ song in this entire movie.The relationship between Christopher and Cinderella is sweet enough to make my toes curl. He’s enamored of her before he sees her as a princess. He sees her in her rags and clogs and gives zero fucks. He sees a beautiful, kind, amazing girl and wants to get to know her. That’s it. There is absolutely no snobbery in him.Victor Garber and Whoopi Goldberg have an amazing onscreen chemistry. They’re so good as the parents and as a couple. SO GOOD YOU GUYS.The stepmother and stepsisters are FUNNY. They’re not so much evil as they are petty and jealous and it comes out in the most hilarious ways.This is a BEAUTIFUL film to look at. The sets, the colors, the costumes, the decor, the cinematography are all just gorgeous.WHITNEY HOUSTON AS THE FAIRY GODMOTHER.
