M Y S T E R Y // I’ve always been the kind of person that is naturally inclined to think with my heart more so than my brain. But, when it comes to my faith, I’m often finding myself unable to receive because I try to be logical and find tangible answers to questions I have or because I want to know things that are uncertain.I’m learning that God often meets us where logic ends. The circumstances makes no sense, but there is always certainty in his presence and his faithfulness. He’s teaching me to trust in his faithful nature and be hopeful and excited of what the future holds.I’m also starting on a Acts study with @shereadstruth and today’s reading focused on a similar concept: the book of Acts opens up with a lot of mystery but there’s also a lot of certainty. “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.” (Acts 1:7) BUT there IS certainty in that Jesus has risen and that he will return and that he will be with us always. Let that certainty be enough amongst the uncertainty that surrounds you in your life.Let’s dwell in this beautiful collision of mystery and certainty today ☺️ -- source link
