brewskis-dnd-homebrewery:Magic Item: Ring of Second ChanceAnother fun solution to the problem of a dead character, the Ring of Second Chance catches and encases the soul of a creature that dies wearing it and allows them to be resurrected by burning the ring.As an interesting quirk, it doesn’t look special when you find it but if you don’t take it, it gives you a second chance to find it in a second location. Additionally, if you don’t know what to do with it once it catches the soul of your deceased party member, it gives you a hint by letting you smell smoke when you come within 5 ft of it.
