We’re proud to introduce you to one of the contributors of Mirrors: An LGBTQ+ South Asian Anthology, @therealmicroman. Here’s what she had to say about why she wanted to be part of @rangoli-pgh and publish her work in Mirrors: Being bisexual and Indian always made me feel isolated, like I was an imposter in my own life, never really allowed to blatantly and unapologetically be the person my life is leading me to. By writing for Mirrors, I could reflect and finally talk freely about both sides of me: my heritage and my orientation. Mirrors represents the merging of these wildly different worlds into a soft and gentle middle ground for me. Check out an excerpt of @therealmicroman‘s piece above! To see the rest of her work, be sure to follow our page @rangoli-pgh and please donate to our fundraiser: https://www.facebook.com/donate/147777732585860/ -- source link
