fuckyeahasexual:In February of 2016, Jughead was confirmed as asexual, but it seems in the new Archie’s inspired show Riverdale, he won’t be. The actor playing Jughead, Cole Sprouse, cited both last Oct and this week his desire to keep Jughead asexual in the show. But isn’t getting his way. The producer has no plans, and is only now claiming that “Jughead is still figuring out his sexuality.” Which I find suspect since other cast members dismissed the idea of Betty and Veronica being bi with an insult towards fan fiction, and that Kevin (Archie’s comics only other canon LGBTQ character) isn’t “figuring out his sexuality”. Either way, Jan 26th is my birthday and I’m going to have an #AroAceJugheadOrBust twitter party while Riverdale airs.
