blackandbrownlove:The bastard mentality: It happened long time ago so it doesn’t really matter. Pale skin/white privilege is a myth. I’m not white, I’m wheatish. I’m not white I’m Indian and they are just Indians that were in the sun a lot. This campaign is about me getting money. They choose reservations and that’s why they are not doing well. All of India is extremely mixed. We are not African. They are not African. The truth: They just got out of slavery. Some got reparations. It was next to nothing for 3000 years of casteism. They are still being lynched. They still have no shoes, no plumbing, do jobs no one else wants to do, have shacks for schools, no water so they have to dig for it themselves in certain areas, are victims to all sorts of violence and predation, are not being taught the truth about their history and the media in their own nation excludes them. [side note] What does hair have to do with it? Do you see women like this in any magazine anywhere? Am I just not looking hard enough? Are these not the most invisible black women in the world?
