THU'UM – THE DRAGON LANGUAGE OF SKYRIMBooks about the Dragon Language, a constructed language for the action role play game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim by Bethesdas Softworks.3 months of hard work. Some content in the book and especially the dictionary content is taken from Thuum.org. Thank you! The dragon script font in the books distinguishes from the original one. I made a more simple looking version for reading and it fits better together with the Fedra.I know it still has mistakes and the grammar may not be that correct but this ist just a sort of protoype! The focus was based on the design process and not on the content of the texts since I studied Communication Design and not Linguistics. But I did my best to make the content as correct as I was able to. It still needs proof reading. And I’ve choosen English and not my native language German because I wanted that everyone can read it. Besides that it would have been much more work to translate the full actual dictionary of nearly 2500 words into german. And explaining the grammar also in German would be a bit different so I decided to make it English. The Grammar of the Dragon Language ist also based on the English Grammar. Plus I had only 3 month for doing it. quite not much time. The Dragon Language does not belong to me, it belongs to Bethesda Softworks. I cannot sell it and I won’t do it without any permission. _________________________ Thu'um – The Dragon Language of Skyrim: 15cmx20cm, 225 pagesDictionary of Dovahzul:9,5cmx12cm, 145 pagescover: real leather & serigraph Bachelor Thesis 2013 | Communication DesignFH Mainz - university of applied sciences, Germany please do not steal!note:I’ve already posted this entry once on my other personal blog but I want it to be up here, too for my portfolio. -- source link
