Walther Olympia Target Pistol,Made by Walther, famous for the Walther PPK, the Walther Olympia target pistol was created specifically for the Berlin rapid fire pistol shooting team for the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Chambered for .22 long rifle and .22 short, some models of the pistol had weights attached to the trigger guard and barrel to help counteract muzzle climb and improve accuracy and speed in rapid fire events. After the 1936 Olympics a short barreled model was also produced in limited quantities. -- source link
