alithographica:Skippers and hedylids (aka “moth-butterflies”) are also considered to be butterflies even though they look very moth-like. They probably represent an early branch-off of the moth lineage that eventually evolved into recognizable butterflies.What’s my agenda for this fact? Basically I just want people to stop hating on moths. Only a few of them want to eat your clothes. The rest are just fluffy butterfly cousins.
