leftfourdead:i was one of the 700 people arrested on the brooklyn bridge.we were charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing traffic. please be aware that the NYPD led us onto the bridge to arrest us, and that my friends, is called entrapment. they corralled us onto the bridge, stopped traffic for us to walk, and at about the halfway mark they cornered us from both sides with meshing and it was confirmed we were going to be arrested.also note that jp morgan donated 4 million dollars to the nypd, that the officers who arrested us were told to come in because there was a fucking riot, which there most definitely was not, and the nypd themselves did not want to arrest 700 people. i was in handcuffs for two hours, and held in jail until 2 am. i have a court date 11/18.liberty plaza was such a beautiful place this weekend. everyone was taking care of everyone else and it was amazing to see. i feel honored to be a part of something so great and i urge you all to get involved. -- source link
