As it was, clerics transformed into the most hideous beasts.A reminder that not only were all of these beasts human, but priests of the healing church. I once thought it was merely their close proximity to the blood that ensured their severe corruption, but now I think it’s because of their crimes. The Healing Church took advantage of people for the sake of ascencion, and as a result became the most mindless and feral of monsters. Even the best of them, Ludwig, alone in retaining his sanity, didn’t question where the Light he followed was leading him, and contributed to what that false priesthood did.
