There are plenty of benefits: better health, improved self-image/esteem, discovering more about yourself; to name a few.Whatever the reason, don’t fight it. You are only fighting your natural self, your true nature. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be nude. Believing otherwise can create internal conflict which can lead to doubt and fear, and can cause resentment and shame. What’s more, people commonly associate these negative thoughts and feelings with what it means to be a nudist. They use it to justify their denial and hold themself back, and sometimes others too. Their denial can be seen in their actions and comments against nudism. That thought in their mind telling them they are a nudist when they believe it to be perverse or wrong can be too much. It can force them to express their nudity in inappropriate ways, like exhibitionism or worse. Then they hate themselves all the more for “giving in.” Their nudity becomes a secret shame, reversing the values and benefits inherent in nudism. It’s tragic in its needlessness. When nudists accept nudism as a part of who they are, they can break, or avoid the cycle altogether. When they do they almost always ask, “Why did it take me so long?” “What was I so worried about?” Don’t wait, don’t hesitate, if you feel that nudism is right.
