itsybittle:You know… for a while now we’ve been getting this small hints of Bitty having issues with how their relationship will affect Jack’s career/secrecy and while he’s saying here that it’s important to communicate and be honest and open, did anybody else noticed that Jack did most of the talking?For which I’m super proud of! Jack is being mature and he is showing us here how much his character has developed from the beginning.And obviously he’s the one who had past relationships to talk about, and Bitty did share his lack of experience but when Jack started talking about how his previous thing with Parson ended because of how it would affect their careers etc, Bitty didn’t say anything more than this.So the story teller/writer in me is finding a deliciously painful contradiction in what Bitty is preaching and what he’s living…Like, the whole comic was about Bitty’s blog about healthy and open communication but it was juxtaposed by them…not? Like yes the end caps are interviews with the media and nobody’s going to do that with the media, but…consistency? *clutches chest* I can’t stand this, no no no I can’t stand the thought of them….I don’t know, downplaying their feels to save the other’s feelings and hurting each other anyway I CAN’T -- source link
