mattrojana:The picture on the left was just three years back. I was always the skinny kid and I absolutely hated it. I remember sneaking into the park gym, getting kicked out and having to grab thrown away wristbands just to get a workout in even if I was alone lol. Not the way I wanted to do it, but I had it set it my mind that I wanted to change my life and that was my only choice at the time sadly. Three years, in reality is not THAT much time, but the experiences that this journey held has made it feel like decades worth. Everything has come and gone by so quickly and I wanted to take a second to reflect and just appreciate all the fortune that I have been blessed with to come my way. I have gained so much knowledge and have met so many amazing and unforgettable people that it humbles and inspires me to pass it along. To everyone big or small, fat or skinny, it doesn’t matter, if you want to change your body/life or anything in general, make what you want part of your mindset and just do it. It may appear, in some cases, that you are at a disadvantage to others in terms of achieving goals/getting fit but hard work will overcome any genetics and that is a fact. There’s absolutely nothing to lose, but everything to gain. Set your goal, stay consistent and results will come with time, I guarantee it. “Fall in love with the workout, not the results.” Thank you to everyone who has helped and been a positive part of these past few years, you know who you are.
