By the time of Justinian’s rule, togas went out of fashion and the tunica was worn by men and women. The tunica was similar to the shirt in that it was T-Shaped. Tunicas worn by women were longer than tunicas worn by men. Women dressed modestly, wearing fashions that covered most if not all of their bodies.
