When the water turns redish and the petals wither and float to the top it’s done.Strain water into jar. If necessary, place a bowl under jar to save water.There you are! Homemade rosewater. Add oil or anything you desire, I added vanilla to my rosewater. Refrigerate until cool, then you can pour rosewater into smaller bottles for spritzers :)(Optional) I saved the petals to grind in my motar, and poured the water into my jar as well as squeezing out any excess water in the petals. -- source link
