voidseapickle:Farewell, my friend, my enemy–I admit that I really liked this character as a villain. Although there’s no excuse for the things he did, I liked the role he filled in the narrative. Playing this game, I’ve often felt like the WoL is some sort of invincible monster who just has to walk in and fight and all our problems, solved. It’s very boring when you just keep winning! And whoa, this villain understands me. An objectively dreadful person, but a wonderful foil to the way the WoL has been presented thus far. (note that I’ve changed the line a bit bc it’s from my WoL perspective back at him rather than a direct quote) -- source link
