PSA - DO NOT BUY!!!So, my folks saw an ad on FaceBook and fell for it. Usually they’re pretty smart but thought it was cute and since I adore Great Whites they wanted to surprise me. The two images above are from Amazon, but they’re pretty much what they saw on FB.Anyone notice anything? If you said the shark was CGI and from a video made years ago you’re right! The vid was made by Fabricio Rabachim:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iH0U0RS4mcM&ab_channel=FabricioRabachimThe Chinese store selling this toy is falsely advertising it as interactive, yet its just a plastic toy. My folks did get a toy, a little plastic one, and while the sculpt isn’t horrible it is in NO WAY what was advertised…unfortunately there was no way to contact the sellers as the e-mail used (bought online from FB) is no longer in use. The sellers are also advertising a dog version and just using a video of a Pomeranian puppy, acting like that is the toy you’ll be getting. So, just a reminder, don’t buy anything off FB, especially if it looks too good to be true!I am keeping the little shark though and have named him Bruce. Parents learned their lesson, he wasn’t overly expensive, plus I think he’s pretty cute despite everything lol. -- source link
