nuggetbuns: We didn’t know each other when we were residents at our local House Rabbit Society, but we shared the same unfortunate story of being dumped at a shelter and both waited a long time before finding our forever home. We want to thank House Rabbit Society for rescuing pet rabbits in need and caring for them when nobody else can. House Rabbit Society is just one of many non-profit organizations run by wonderful volunteers and are always welcoming more people to help by donating time, money, or supplies. If you want to help pets in need, contact your local animal shelter for volunteer information. We can all make an impact just by giving up a couple hours a week/month to spend time with homeless pets. If you’re considering a pet bunny (or any animal) and have done the proper research for care and diet, please adopt from a local animal shelter. There are so many wonderful pets living in shelters that are just waiting for a forever home! Adopt, don’t shop. Save a life. -- source link
